lindsay|digital is a 3D design and visual effects studio in Pacific Grove, California run by me, Spencer Lindsay, a 20-year veteran of digital design, game development and 3D design. In addition to providing contract 3D modeling and Motion Graphics services, I provide easy solutions that enable businesses to communicate their ideas clearly to customers through visual arts.

Using a combination of Digital Photography, Video, 3D and 2D processes, I create anything my clients can dream up including technical illustrations, pre-visualization work, effects for film and televison and digital stills for print.

I work with scientists and filmmakers to bring complex scientific data to life. Being based in the Monterey Bay allows my scientific clients easy access to me and my lab, making our communication that much easier. I find that the task of visualizing scientific data needs to be not only accurate, but aesthetically pleasing and realized to a standard that meets the expectations of an audience accustomed to years of ever increasing quality in movies. Utilizing the latest in filmmaking technology, I offer my customers 20 years of expertise in compositing, animation and special effects.

Developers and City Planners have come to me to help visualize the final outcome of their projects and find any visual snags that might not be caught in blueprints.

Combining 3D with film or video assets is a great way to add visual complexity to your project as well as a vector for your information to be easily understood by your audience. Using state of the art software and hardware, I'm able to add effects or build entire scenes in High Definition formats including 720p and 1080i.
