WWDC Icon Wall
Way cool. Apple had a rack of 30″ Cinema Displays on the show floor – networked into the app store. The display was a grid of 20,000 icons representing a large chunk of the 50,000 apps available on the iTunes App Store. Each time an app was purchased, the icon would pulse and ripple the surrounding icons.
What an excellent example of infographics married to marketing.
